Soroptimist of Stuart is guided by a dedicated group of volunteer leaders who are passionate about improving the lives of women and girls.
Club President: A Soroptimist club president is charged with ensuring that the club supports Soroptimist International of the Americas’ mission to provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
The Vice President and Membership Chair serves as a board member and acts as a delegate to district meetings and regional conferences and as an alternate delegate to the federation convention, and is a member of the Finance and Laws & Resolutions Committees.
The role of the club secretary is to prepare, maintain, record, and circulate all records, correspondence, minutes of meetings, and related affairs of the club in accordance with the club bylaws and SIA’s club secretary guidelines.
The role of the club treasurer is to maintain and present all financial records required for club operations in accordance with the club bylaws and SIA’s club treasurer guidelines.
The Assistant Treasurer processes club funds as authorized by the Treasurer. This role serves in the Treasurer’s capacity when the Treasurer is unable to attend a meeting.
Directors are appointed from the general membership by the President, and provide input from membership to assist the board.

Provides strategic counsel, leadership continuity, and governance support to the current board. Serves as an advisor and ambassador, mentoring leaders and advancing Soroptimist’s mission.
