Women in Transition Award

This award program focuses on supporting women who have or are going through transition later in life and are seeking support for their journey toward a new and meaningful goal. Soroptimist of Stuart initiated this award to support the needs of women who have recently undergone major life changes, such as divorce or widowhood. Our aim is to assist women to move on with their lives through education and pursue their dreams. This award will help them achieve their goals of independence through education, from technical/medical certification through advanced degrees preparing them for meaningful careers.
